Hi! I'm Susannah.

ROOTED IN CONNECTION

I have lived, worked and parented in five countries on four continents and have a deep appreciation for how diverse and complex each of our stories can be. No matter where I am in the world, most significant to me are the friendships and relationships that have formed in the small moments of these big moves; true connection matters to me. All of this shapes how I show up as a therapist—I see our time together as two people connecting, heart to heart.

AN INTEGRATED APPROACH

My approach to therapy is integrative, as I pull from a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive-Behavorial interventions, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, narrative and modern psychodynamic approaches. My goal is to hold space with you, to bear witness and guide you to connect in deeper relationship with yourself. I believe that uncomfortable emotions and dysfunctional behaviors often point to something deeper—an unmet need or a longing waiting to be heard, held and freed. By listening closely and gently, I will support you as you  uncover new understanding, healing, and growth. Therapy isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about trusting the process.

A SAFE, COLLABORATIVE SPACE

While I have experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, I particularly love working with people who are truly curious about themselves and who want to live more fully aligned with their values. Whether you’re just beginning therapy or returning after some time away, I offer a space that’s warm, collaborative, and human— a safe, supportive space where you can bring your whole self without judgment. At the heart of it, therapy with me is about genuine presence and connection.

HONORING YOUR STORY

I believe everyone has a story that deserves to be told. Truly, we all have a multitude of stories, patterns, and longings that deserve love and attention. When we slow down enough to really listen, to really turn towards one another, towards our selves, real change becomes possible.

I'm a therapist, a mom, a wife, daughter, sister, friend, an expat, an educator, a deep empath. I lean in towards trust, towards listening and towards laughter.  I am silly and sensitive and steady. I laugh loudly, give awkwardly long hugs and I believe in the goodness in people. I love spontaneous dance parties, the NYT crossword puzzle, tiny spoons, Brene Brown, handwritten notes and deep, juicy heart conversations. I'm a person just living my life in this wild world. I feel all of the feelings and life continues to teach me about patience, compassion, and the messy beauty of being human.
